My recent stay at The Glenfield in the Lake District was absolutely wonderful! The owner, Kathy, was incredibly warm and welcoming. The guest house itself is immaculate, with spotlessly clean and tidy rooms. The bed was extremely comfortable, and in the room, you have coffee, tea, and biscuits each day. The breakfast choices were excellent, including cereal, fruit, yogurt, croissants. Kathy's three dogs, Lily, Flynn, and Archie, were adorable and well-behaved. Kathy's knowledge of the local history was impressive, and she always took an interest in our plans for the day. I highly recommend The Glenfield for a perfect stay in the Lake District.
I recommend this hotel.
